Characterisation of graphite rods using Micro CT

Happiness Victor Ijije

Scientific Case

This project aims to obtain the X-ray tomography of various graphite rods. It focuses on collecting all relevant information on the properties of the rod before and after the exfoliation process.

Experiment Design

The graphite rods will have dimensions 1 cm x I cm (Flexible and can be cut into any size). The porosity of the rods varies up to 40% and the pore size distribution ranges from< 1 ɥm to 100 ɥm.
