BSc research project
3D woven composite has gained popularity due to its better performance in the through-thickness direction under static loading than that of 2D composite. However, the fatigue properties of 3D woven composite is yet to be validated. The aim of this project is to establish fatigue damage mechanisms in 3D orthogonal CFRP by ex-situ CT aided with staining.
